Designed specifically as a storage box for travel and adventure sports, and tough enough for
professional or military storage.
Structurally designed and fabrication-material researched to be tough yet affordable. As
long-time overlanders, we saw the need to fill the market gap between brittle storage boxes
intended for household use and high-priced cases intended for expensive equipment. Our
market objective was to create a storage box mid-ranged in price, but tough enough for the
most demanding outdoor enthusiast. A box that would be able to withstand a beating and
meet the basic needs of outdoor storage requirements.

Our Nomad Box has great stackability, with a great lock between boxes.
- Straight sides to maximize storage space and vertical load transmission
- Double-walled reinforced corners for maximum strength when stacking heavy loads.
- Two comfortable locking clasps on the short sides, which act as lift-and-open handles.
- Two lift handles on the long sides.
- Two main tracks for cargo straps on the top in the width-wise direction.
- Strap-notch above the clasps for lengthwise strapping.
- Notches for holding down straps on the box below. This means that you can strap boxes in different levels if needed.
- Long holes on the corner reinforcements that allow bungee cord hooks to be inserted to tie lighter items on the tops of the boxes.
- Eight zip-tie holes to seal the box for extra safety in case of a fall or if you want to ship the box.
- Two rectangular boxes on the lid for label placement so you can identify the contents of the box.
MANUFACTURING MATERIAL:
Made of Polypropylene with Copolymer additive (PPC), which gives the box flexibility and high resistance to impact and fracture. This material also retains its sub-zero temperature characteristics very well. The fasteners are made of high-strength polyamide 6.
MATERIAL TESTING:
We carried out an informal materials test by subjecting the Nomad Boxes to below freezing temperatures overnight and climbing on it with an all-terrain vehicle the next day. The result was totally positive as the box was not damaged and the lid was restored to its original shape.
WATER RESISTANCE AND STACKING:
Our Nomad Box has a great water resistance, designed to withstand heavy rain even when used at highway speeds on the exterior of a vehicle with little or no water ingress. The box also has an excellent stacking capability as it has a tight hold between boxes. Stacked boxes in a
vehicle will not slip off each other. The straight sides maximize storage space and vertical load transmission. The corners are double wall reinforced for maximum strength when stacking boxes with heavy loads. They are of a suitable size to ensure good handling even when loaded with heavy items.

They can be carried on the roof rack perfectly. They are very resistant to dust and water. We recommend tying them using the cinch rails on the lids, as this further aids in good lid sealing.
We have preserved everything that has made this quintessential design special, but we have tried to improve on its shortcomings, such as the clumsy box top clips and weakness of the lid, and incorporate and modernize other completely new design features and materials.
A very frequently asked question. The boxes are the same size inside and out, so all kinds of accessories, bags, covers and fixings, whether Front Runner or other brands, will work with the Nomad Boxes. The design of the boxes is different, so they do not stack well one brand on top of the other.
